Product: HP EliteDesk 800 G8 Desktop Mini
Operating System: Linux
Hi, I purchased a HP EliteDesk 800 G8 Mini used. I have formatted the drive and reinstalled an operating system.
However, I am aware that Intel AMT or VPro can be used to remotely manage a given PC and since it operates outside of the usual operating system, it will persist even after formatting the hard drive.
If I disable this setting in my bios, will that permanently rescind any access to the intel amt remote management on my system that a previous user may have access to.
Or will the remote access still be able to be reactivated remotely by the previous user if they have set it up?
