Hello,
Call of Duty is requiring a certain version of TPM 2.0 in which HP is yet to provide an update on. The version I have is TPM 2.0 3.94.0.5 and the version required for Call of Duty is 3.*.2.* (I am using the stars as place markers, but the 2 is needed in the version). I will not be able to play Call of Duty Black Ops 7 without an update to the TPM. Will HP release a firmware update, that will update the TPM 2.0 to the required version in order to play? I am seeing other manufacturers release TPM updates to account for this, but HP has not done anything. Let me know. Thanks!

Welcome to our HP Community forum!
I notified HP about this issue. Undoubtedly, I wasn't the only one who reached out to HP about it.
An HP Support Agent, @Garp_senchau, has acknowledged/responded that HP is working on it: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Gaming-Desktops/TPM-for-call-of-duty/td-p/9474787/page/3.
This is all I can tell you at the moment.

Hi @BiggieSmalls100,
Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thanks to NonSequitur777 for tagging me; I found this information in the AMD advisory, which was shared by my senior. I hope this provides some information on the issue.
Also, the TPM issue has been forwarded to the concerned team, and they are currently looking into it.
Platform Details:
The LaprasA21C2 platform uses the Cezanne CPU.
This platform, starting from 2021, uses Type A fTPM (SHA-256).
Firmware Update Advisory:
AMD’s Advisory: Do not update the TPM firmware from Type A to Type B. This firmware transition can lead to failure and potential data loss, as per guidance from AMD.
Reason for caution: Upgrading TPM from Type A to Type B directly from the field side is not recommended by AMD. It can result in clearing the TPM, which may cause data loss and negatively affect device security.
TPM Attestation Failure:
There were issues related to TPM Attestation Failure on AMD platforms with ASP fTPM.
Resolution: AMD addressed this issue in TPM firmware updates provided to motherboard manufacturers in 2022.
However, upgrading the firmware from Type A to Type B still poses a risk to the device.
Reference: TPM Attestation Failure on AMD Platforms with ASP fTPM
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
