Welcome to the HP Community Forum.
Most systems, if they have Microsoft Office / 365 installed at all, come with a Trial version of the software.
IF you purchased the full suite of Office 365 with the computer,
If you purchased the computer from HP,
Look for the license key in your purchase email confirmation or shipping notification mail.
OR
If the system did actually come with the subscription to the software,
(Then) the first time you opened the software, if the software were not Trial software, Microsoft would have registered the setup and kept that information. Contact Microsoft Support.
Things that are Microsoft Office Software
Microsoft 365 / all Microsoft Office products are licensed and controlled by Microsoft.
We can help to the extent of providing information to help you understand your options.
The short version:
When you first used your Office software, it should / would have been registered with Microsoft.
Contact Microsoft for help with your Office Products.

Installation and License Key Options
Some of the ways to “get” Office Software:
- Trial Software that comes with the computer.
An "offer" to try the software, in other words. The license is NOT included in Trial offers.
- Purchase Microsoft Office when you purchase your computer
Look for your license key with your purchase paperwork.
- Receive a “free one year subscription to Office 365 when you purchase the computer (quite rare).
If you have trouble with this exact type of “installed” Office before it has expired,
Contact HP Support for recovery options.
- Purchase Office separately from Microsoft or other merchant.
