Dear , I want to install windows XP 32 on HP 280G2 MT . But due to no option in changing acpi my HDD IS NOT DETECTING GIVING SCREEN AS ATTACHED . BUT MY REQUIREMENT IS ONLY TO USE WIN XP 32 ON IT . I ALSO CANNOT USE IT AS VIRTUAL MACHINE DUE TO MY REQUIREMENT . WHAT CAN I DO FOR THE ABOVE REQUESTING TO PLEASE UPDATE ME.

Hi:
The oldest operating system you can run on that platform is W7 64 bit.
If you have W7 pro, you can see if installing the Virtual XP mode program for W7 works on your PC.

You will have to enable VT in the BIOS to use XP mode.
That would be your only option, as it is impossible to install XP on that platform.
The last Intel platform that had support for XP were PC's with the 3rd generation core processors, and series 7 chipsets.
