Ok I have this motherboard (Nutmeg-mini itx rev 1.00) from an HP pavilion SFF PC and I supplied the new Samsung Evo 500GB SSD, The board came with one 8GB of DDR3 (PC3) 12800S ram module, IO shield, front panel header cable and the power adapter so it was lacking a case but I remedied that with a generic ITX form factor case.
The issue is the system will identify and boot off the USB drive but when II choose the windows version (32 or 64bit) it starts loading files and once that bar fills up across the bottom of the screen the system power cycles and I am back to the windows version choice screen and repeat USB boot and installation of windows 10 per instructions from Microsoft and from this very website have failed in the same manner with power cycle and starting over at the windows version choice screen
I changed the ram with known good ones, checked all the wiring, factory restored the bios settings, changed bios battery, changed the power adapter to one with more amperage and still get the same results. It's like when the system gets a load put on it it just shuts down and restarts and I suspect the CPU is damaged and there is no sensible way to change it or the PCB was damaged at somepoint in shipping or by the previous owner and they failed to let me know.
