Hello,
I just bought a used Elitedesk 800 G3 SFF on ebay with no hard drive and no OS. I bought an M.2 for it and downloaded Windows 10 from microsoft. I then installed it on the Elitedesk from USB. After the install, it checks for updates and then takes me to a sign in screen asking for MYdigitalspace email instead of asking for a product key. How do i fix this issue? Im sure this was previously a school or work PC before but since it had no Hard drive or OS I didnt expect there to be an issue making it a home PC.

Sounds like the existing key in BIOS is a volume license key and you have to connect your machine to its Domain . Please try
Hope this helps.
Regards.

Hi, @beginnerpcbuild
If the PC originally came with W10 from HP, there would be a W10 product key in the PC's BIOS.
You don't need the key or even need to know what the key is to reinstall W10.
You can install the free Showkey Plus app from the Microsoft Store to view the OEM product key in the BIOS.

If you do not see an OEM key, then your PC came with FreeDOS and has no product key.
You will need to purchase a W10 product key and license.
