Will my HP Compaq dc5800 Microtower PC MXL9330BZ3 run windows 10?

Hi:

 

It should.

 

I have a dc7800, which is the upscale model of the dc5800 and it runs W10 just fine.

 

You will need to install W7 drivers for a couple of devices, and I found that the W7 Soundmax audio driver works better than the generic audio driver W10 installs.

 

You can probably still get the free upgrade from W7 to W10 if you click on the blue Update Now button at the link below...

 

Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)

 

This link provides info on the free upgrade.

 

Here's how you can still get a free Windows 10 upgrade | ZDNet

 

You have 30 days to roll back to W7 if things don't work to your liking on W10.
