Windows 10 will not open regular Microsoft word starter

Windows 10 is not opening operating Microsoft word in workable platform. When opening microsoft word starter. I get the popup stating This document could not be registered. It will not be possible to create links from other documents to this document.  Tried formatting a document, would not change font, size and document structure.

"Word Starter" - I have not heard that term for a number of years.

I believe Microsoft has long abandoned this version of Word.

If the software does not work

You'll need to use something else, I think.

Consider:

A licensed Office product,

the free Microsoft Online Word tools,

or an alternative to Office (free "like Office" software packages).
