ok I just had to have my hard drive replaced. They told me that I would have to buy a new operating system. I don't know if they installed s new or what. I looked and it said upgraded from windows 7 to windows 10?? Is that the way it will rear?

Hi:

 

You can reinstall W10 for free.

 

Make bootable installation media using the Media creation tool from the link below.

 

Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)

 

If you are asked to enter a product key during the installation process, select the 'I don't have a product key' option, and W10 will install.
