System Specs:
HP Pavailion 590-p0044
AMD Ryzen 5 2400G with Radeon VGA Graphics
12MB DDR4 Ram
1 TB internal HDD
Bios Revision 8433 vF.57
Bios Date 11/10/2022
I was having issues and decided to do a clean install of Windows 11. I used the media creation tool, create a bootable USB installation disk and rebooted to the USB. Installation was proceeding nicely. I booted from the USB, I deleted all partitions from the hard drive, selected the unallocated space on which to install Windows, and proceeded with the install. I got through choosing language, copying files, loading services, etc, then it gets to a point where it reboots and I believe it is booting from the hard drive, at that point, the screen goes blank and nothing happens.
I've read posts that say it is updating and to wait. I've waited overnight and still nothing. I'm at a loss. I'm hardwired to the internet, so I know have have a connection. I've tried it both with Secrure Boot enabled (default) and disabled and same thing happens. SATA Emulation is AHCI.
The computer came with Windows 10, so I tried a Windows 10 clean install and got similar results except with Windows 10 it hands on a blue screen with dots spinning and "Just a Moment" message (the dots stop spinning).
I am at a lost and any help would be appreciated.
Thank you

Hi @TallyTiger
If you have the Sunflower MB, SSID 8433, the F.57 BIOS is causing the problem. Verify you have the Sunflower MB before doing anything. Check HP product information or Microsoft System Information in Control Panel Windows Tools.
See this Forum Link for faulty F.57 BIOS update details.
HP has issued a BIOS update to fix this problem for some PCs but I don't see a newer BIOS update at your PC's download Site. HP is indicating your PC has the Sunflower MB at this site.
Your PC is in trouble now. Try the HP F.58 BIOS update for the Sunflower MB at this Site to see what happens.
This F.58 BIOS update is for the Sunflower MB, SSID 8433.

Hi:
There could be a hard drive or memory hardware issue.
Run the hard drive and memory diagnostics test (F2) and see if everything passes.
If everything passes the hardware tests, the only suggestion I can offer would be to use the HP cloud recovery tool to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.
Here is an info link for how to use the utility. You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive to create the recovery media with.
HP Consumer PCs - Using the HP Cloud Recovery Tool in Windows 11 and 10 | HP® Customer Support
Since you have to install the tool on another PC to create the recovery media you have to enter your PC's product number in the tool's search window to proceed to create the recovery media.
Your PC's product number is: 3LA79AA#ABA

Thank you for your quick response. I did as suggested, it passed all the test. I was able to download the Cloud Recover tool and boot to the USB. It went through the steps and eventually rebooted and I got what appears to be the lock screen with the user account Administrator displayed and it locked up there. After waiting an hour or so, I shut down the computer and restarted it, now it wont event POST or boot to BIOS. The screen remains blank and nothing happens.
