I have tried all the troubleshooters, tried to update drivers, etc. with no luck. Seems like I am missing appropriate driver but cannot get HP software download site to provide me with any driver suggestions when I type in my serial number. Just get spinning icon indefinitely...same thing when I try to contact HP support.

Sanity Check: Does the monitor have built in speakers? Are they enabled in the on screen display?
If no speakers, then bring up "sound settings" scroll down to advanced and select "all sound devices" to get a different audio out device that is connected to something.
VX2457 is my Video monitor that has speakers but thanks to Dell temperature sensor app it motorboats and is unusable so I have m3 Bluetooth as speaker. By the way, if I click on VXS2457 windows can check for updated drivers.
