HP10070.

I recently did a fresh Win7 Pro 64bit install on an i7 2nd gen. system.

The very first Windows update took around 5-6 hours before it came back with the updates."Using WiFi."

Over 250 Important updates over 900mb.

Over 150 Optional updates over 500mb.

I am also having the same  issues with Windows 7 Update "checking for updates" never ending.

I tried downloading the KB3102810 from the Microsoft site and the Windows Update Standaone Installer starts searching for updates on this computer, but it does not stop searching. I left it searching for over 15 minutes and it was still searching.
