My computer was updated from win7 to windows 10 there seems to be an update for bios and clock stops every time powered of or in sleep for very long also won't wake up from sleep without rebooting could this older bios from windows7 be the cause replaced battery about 1 year ago still not working right my bios is 786F2 vol 01.53 the update is 786F2 vol 01.6

Does the bios clock stops mean the PC can't retain the current time?
Try a new MB battery.
Try a BIOS update. I can't check your PC specs (manufacturing date or operating system support) because you have not provided a valid product number. A Win 7 BIOS update will not work when running W10. HP would have to support W10 on your PC to install a newer BIOS update.
