I have the below all in one desktop. There was a system problem wherein the hard disk got corrupted.

 

I have to install windows 8 back. How can i get the product key for the installed original windows 8 - which i had bought with the desktop  

 

Product Model:   H5Y57AA  Product Name:    HP Pavilion TouchSmart 23-f201in All-in-One Desktop PC    Product Serial Number:    3CR3190CZW

The product key is embedded into the UEFI firmware of the motherboard.

 

You can retrieve it using this utility: Showkey - Windows 10 Forums

The Windows license activation key is coded in the BIOS. 

 

Install the OS.

 

When you go online, it should automatically activate.
