On the Windows Import Photos feature, is there any way of choosing which Photos I want to import?

This sounds like a "Windows thing", that is, something more related to Windows software and not the brand of computer or the brand of the printer you are using.

 

For example, depending on which "Windows" photo import software you are using,

Use your favorite search engine to search for "Windows Import Photos"

 

Results (from Google) include and are NOT limited to:

See all your photos - Windows Help - Microsoft Support
