Please provide more info.

 

A factory configured HP PC should auto activate because the W10 OEM product key is stored in the BIOS.

 

The HP Windows product key may not work if you installed a different HP MB having no product key in the BIOS or you are trying to install the incorrect version of Windows (Windows Home versus Windows Pro) on a HP MB.
