Good Morninh All,
My setup : HP Prodesk 400 G4, Came with Win 10 on hard drive, later I added and SSD and installed win 10 on it ,also Two MD raedon cards installed
What happened Two days ago , my computer got Windows update at night , I turned it Off with the " Update and turn off" option ,
woke up next day ,turned on the PC, I could hear it working , but nothing showing on the monitor , I could hear the PC restarting several times by it self , checked cables , did all the logical stuff,
afternoon , PC sratred with blue screen with recovery options , Non of them worked .
I tried to install Win10 again ,
I got the message :
We couldntinstall windows in the locatio you chosen , please check the media drive ,
checked online , and read that I have to disconnect all other drive , did that and windows instaled properly , on the SSD, and it restarts normaly,
I then reconected the HDD, and started the PC, shows tehBlue screen below
Recovery – Your PC needs to be repaired
A required device isn't connected or can't be accessed. Error code: 0xc0000225
When I disconned the HDD it works well,
With HDD shows the blue screen,
I think the HDD still have some boot files or partition because when I wated to install windows and both drives were connetced I had around 6 Partition showing ( 2 Primary drives, 1 MSr reserved partition, 1 System partition, 1 recovery partition,) but when I disconneted teh HDD , I had onlyOne partition showing which is SSD,
No I run Win10 on the SSD and teh HDD is not connected ,
I need a solution to connect the HDD again, as it has all the Data
I dont think that HDD is curroptbecause I was able to copy from SSD to HDD, a small file shich was on the desktop while I was trying tocheck if I have recover imge(from repair screen
hope it is clea. Thanks in advance

Following the steps that have been done since the problem started-
I think the SSD new install is good.
It would seem there is a problem with the hard drive setup, as you suspect. I would disconnect the SSD and then try to boot with just the hard drive connected. I think you will find the boot manager is either corrupt or missing. If all that this hard drive is going to be used for is data, then that can be fixed, too. Start by looking in the BIOS setup. If the hard drive is set for the 1st boot, then that is most likely the problem.
Assuming with just the SSD connected - the Windows 10 works to your satifaction, correct? Check in the BIOS to verify where this SSD appears. Set it for 1st boot. Recheck that the PC boots OK.
Now add the HDD and recheck in BIOS that SSD is still first. Hopefully that will solve the problem.

>>>> When I disconneted the HDD it works well,
Because old HDD still has something (I call signature) on it therefore you need to mount old HDD outside and reformat it to clear things out then put it back.

@The OldMan,
It worked, I did what you advised it didt work first , even that SSD is 1st and HDD is not 1st in boot,
I noticed that I can disable the HDD bood(using F5), and it worked fine,
I should have thought about it , but it has been more than 12years than I changed anything in a PC boot ,
the UEFI and Legacy in too modern for me 🙂
Many Thanks from Dubai .
