Product: OMEN 30L Desktop - GT13-0380t CTO
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

The HP Omen 30L gaming desktop I purchased in 2021, which came with Windows 10 and later updated to Windows 11, is suddenly showing an "Activate Windows" notice in 2024. I used the Windows Activation Troubleshooter, but it seems  Windows cannot be activated even when re-entering the Windows Key that came with the PC. I'm at a loss on what to do next.

The only suggestion I can offer would be to see if this works...

 

Download and install the free Showkey Plus app from the Micrsoft Store.

 

ShowKeyPlus - Microsoft Apps

 

When you run the app, it should show you the Windows OEM product key and the version of Windows the key is good for as well as an 'Installed key.'

 

If the installed key is different from the OEM key, change the installed key to the OEM key in the PC settings menu and hopefully, you should be able to activate Windows.
