Hi,
I am a representative for a company that sells dental equipment. We received an HP Z4G4 Desktop Workstation - Serial number 4CE1231M4M - and installed it at a client a few years ago.
The computer now has a problem with Windows, which suddenly shows as unactivated. Troubleshooting does not resolve the problem. The computer has an OEM Windows license, so I am unable to try and relicense the software using a serial key.
What can be done to reactivate the Windows? I am unable to contact HP support, the support page shows temporarily unavailable.
Thank you

Hi:
According to the parts list, the PC came with W10 Pro.
DPK, WIN 10 PRO WORKSTATION TIER 1
There should be a W10 Pro OEM product key in the BIOS.
Download and install the free Showkey Plus app from the Microsoft Store and it should show you the W10 OEM product key in the BIOS as well as an 'Installed key.'
ShowKeyPlus - Free download and install on Windows | Microsoft Store
If the installed key is different than the OEM key, change the installed key to the OEM key in the PC settings menu and see if you can activate W10 that way.
