Hi,

I am unable to update windows 11. I've ran the update troubleshooter, I've ran sfc /scannow, I've ran DISM.exe and followed numerous Youtube tutorials but  eventually arrived at the conclusion that I would have to reset windows (keeping my files) but that failed too. Can anyone help with this?

Hi

 

Sound as if you could have memory or HDD/SSD problems.

 

Have you run any HP UEFI Startup System or Component diagnostics?

 

Start the PC, Tap "ESC", Select "F2". Run various tests to check hardware.

Thank you for your reply.

I ran the HP hardware diagnostics, both the fast and extensive tests, all of which 'passed'.

I have run SFC /scannow and run DISM "CheckHealth," "ScanHealth," and "RestoreHealth,"  to no avail.

 

I wasn't able to 'reset' Windows either (keeping my files).

 

I followed your suggestion "Start the PC, Tap "ESC", Select "F2" but my pc just started normally.
