Hello I have a z6 5g workstation newer been started up try’s to start it but it blinks 3 red pips then 3 short white bips. And can’t start up how do I fix it or return it back to the store?

Hi:

 

I would return the PC.  You shouldn't have to deal with problems like that right out of the box.

 

Here is the beep code troubleshooting guide so you can at least know what the 3.3 beep code is and how to troubleshoot it:

 

They tell you to contact HP customer service for that issue.   Take the PC back as soon as possible.

 

3.3 = Graphic chip failure

Hello thanks for pointing out the failur. Sir is there any thing I could do before taking it back to the store some kind of trouble shooting? Maybe fix it myself if it is something that can be fixed?

You're very welcome.

 

Since the PC only comes with a graphics card and no onboard graphics adapter, you can try removing and reseating it.

 

Other than that, I can't think of anything else you can try.
