Welcome to the HP Community.

IF you are referring to having connected your Yahoo account the the Windows Mail application,

Remove the not-working email account from the Windows Mail application.

Restart your computer and log in

Open theMicrosoft Store

Look for updates for Windows Mail or other apps.

=================================================================

Check / Update in / from the Microsoft Store

Windows key > Open the Tile for Microsoft Store

If necessary, sign into the store

Click on “See more”  (three horizontal dots )

Options in My Library

  • All owned
  • Installed
  • Ready to install
  • Downloads
  • Included with device

OR

Options on Right side of menu > Box:

Select Downloads and Updates

Next,

Open Windows Mail

Add your mail account into the application

What else?

Windows Mail mostly likely does NOT support two-step verification.

Add an Apps Password to your yahoo account (in the yahoo account security setup).
