When trying to set a PIN during sign-in, a note pops up saying that my organization requires at least a six-digit pin. I have checked under the "work or school" account and do not see any associated organization. I do not see any organization associated with any setting, at least that I've been able to find.
I've seen some sources mentioning 3rd-party software playing a part in this issue, but I do not have any ideas as to the applicability of this possibility.
My question: how do I eliminate any organization from my HP Spectre so that I have full control over my sign-in requirements?

@FriendlyAndy333 Here's a few things that should help you:
- Try to remove the PIN option completely and then re-add it.
- Go to Settings > Accounts > Sign in Options, and under PIN select "I forgot my PIN". Enter your password, and when asked to enter a new PIN, select Cancel.
- Then go about re-adding your PIN. It might let you add a 4 digit PIN this time.
- If this does not work, you will need to uncouple your account from the school.
If nothing works, create a new user account and check if that works fine.
