Hi @Pinku8,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding choosing an operating system!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I see your laptop shows a “Choose an operating system” blue screen with two Windows 11 options every time you start up.

This usually means your boot menu has duplicate entries. Here’s how you can fix this easily:

Basic steps to remove duplicate Windows entry

Boot into Windows (choose either option).
Both should load the same Windows, pick the first one.

Open System Configuration (msconfig):

Press Windows + R

Type: msconfig

Hit Enter

Go to the “Boot” tab:

You’ll see both Windows 11 entries listed there.

One will say “”Default” keep that.

Select the duplicate one that is not default.

Click Delete.

Apply and restart:

Click Apply, then OK.

Restart your laptop. The blue screen should be gone, your laptop will boot straight into Windows.

I hope this helps.

I'm glad I could help! 😊 If this resolved your issue, please mark it as "Accepted Solution" and click "Yes" on "Was this reply helpful?" Your feedback not only keeps us going but also helps others find the solution faster! 👍
