Hi @rondo708

Welcome to the HP Forum.

This sounds like the Macrium image has problems, or the image recovery process has problems, or the new drive has issues. I see Macrium gave you a successful image prompt at some point in the process so I don't know what that means.

You can't boot to the new drive so the image file or the image recovery process to the new drive was not successful.

I stopped using Macrium when the free version was shut down. Are you using the free version?

So, I don't know if the unsupported version of Macrium you may be running is doing this or you have a drive problem.

Check your PC's hardware as follows:

Start the PC. Repeatedly tap the "ESC" key.

Select "F2". Run system and component tests.

I am now using Aomei Backupper free. Try Aomei to see how it goes.

Regards
