I made image of hard drive M.2 which was at the limit, created image with macrium reflect 7, restored image to new 1tb m.s, got image successful but get this error on boot up BootDevice Not Found Hard Disk 3f0

Welcome to the HP Forum.
This sounds like the Macrium image has problems, or the image recovery process has problems, or the new drive has issues. I see Macrium gave you a successful image prompt at some point in the process so I don't know what that means.
You can't boot to the new drive so the image file or the image recovery process to the new drive was not successful.
I stopped using Macrium when the free version was shut down. Are you using the free version?
So, I don't know if the unsupported version of Macrium you may be running is doing this or you have a drive problem.
Check your PC's hardware as follows:
Start the PC. Repeatedly tap the "ESC" key.
Select "F2". Run system and component tests.
I am now using Aomei Backupper free. Try Aomei to see how it goes.
