Hi @3poldo,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are trying to create a BIOS recovery USB stick for your HP ENVY Desktop TE01-0126no, follow these steps:

Download the BIOS Update File:

  • Visit the HP Support website for your specific desktop model.
  • Download the latest BIOS update file (in your case, BIOS 8653 F.38 Rev A) for your desktop.

Extract the BIOS Update:

  • The BIOS update file you downloaded will likely be in a compressed format (such as ZIP). Extract the files to a folder on your computer.

Create a BIOS Recovery USB Stick:

  • Format the USB Drive:
    1. Insert a USB flash drive (at least 1GB) into your computer.
    2. Open File Explorer.
    3. Right-click on the USB drive and select Format.
    4. Choose FAT32 as the file system and click Start to format the drive.
  • Copy the BIOS Files:
    1. After formatting, open the folder where you extracted the BIOS files.
    2. Copy the BIOS files to the root directory of the USB flash drive.

Perform the BIOS Recovery:

  • Turn off your desktop.
  • Insert the USB drive into the desktop's USB port.
  • Turn on the desktop and immediately press the Windows + B key combination.
  • Continue pressing the keys until the BIOS Recovery screen appears.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to proceed with the BIOS recovery process.

Thank you for everything you write to me, but the problem is another. The HP site supporting my PC has as its latest update the BIOS F.37.Unfortunately I find myself having downloaded with windows update the BIOS F.38 Rev A . What I am missing is the installation file of this Bios and therefore I cannot create a recovery Usb
