Hi:
You would either have to reinstall W10 and use the correct BIOS update for your PC's motherboard's SSID or take a gamble running the correct BIOS update on W11 and hope it doesn't brick your PC.
There are 4 updates listed. Two for the same SSID and two for different SSIDs.

there are no options for windows 11 bios update, that is what i’m mainly struggling with is actually finding the update itself. I need to update because I just received my ryzen 7 5800x 8-core, and from what I know when I went to the website, this isn’t compatible with my motherboard. Am I still able to install this in my pc with no issues? do I need to do a bios update for this to work? or will nothing help me at all?

Unfortunately, that I would not know as to whether or not a BIOS update will allow the Ryzen 7 5800x to work.
I doubt it though.
None of the BIOS updates for any of the motherboard SSID's indicate that they provide support for newer processors.
As far as updating the BIOS...I gave you your options once you determine what your BIOS' SSID is.
1. Play it safe and reinstall W10, then update the BIOS.
2. Roll the dice and hope the W10 BIOS update for your PC motherboard's SSID will not fail and brick your PC.

what should I do then with my cpu(ryzen 7 5800x). Should I try to install it or should I return it? Are there chances that it will still run even though the website doesn’t show the mother board supports my cpu?

I am unable to determine what model motherboard your PC has because the HP partsurfer site isn't working.
That should provide your PC's motherboard name which I could look up and that would provide the SSID.
I have done a search of related posts on the forum and can't find anything.
Without that information, I can't provide any guidance.
If you know the model motherboard your PC has and know that the Ryzen 7 5800x processor is not on the list of supported processors, then I would definitely return it.

Hi, again:
HP has fixed the part surfer website and now I can see that your PC comes with the Erica3 motherboard, the specs for which are below:

I would say that based on the list of supported processors, the Ryzen 7 5800x processor definitely won't work.
Regarding the SSID, the motherboard specs link indicates the SSID is 87D6, and I don't see a BIOS update listed for that SSID on your PC's support page.
However, there is an 87D6 W11 BIOS update listed on the base model HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop PC TG01-1000a PC series, but it does not indicate that it adds support for newer processors either.
