Greetings @Ab3231

I would ignore this BIOS update. You should be able to hide this BIOS update.

Your PC can have three different MBs.

Follow steps at this HP Site to find your PC's MB ID (SSID) and the current BIOS version.

The MB SSID is a four character alphanumeric ID. For example, 8BY4.

Check possible BIOS updates at this HP Site using the correct MB SSID to see if a newer BIOS update is available.

W10 BIOS updates will install on a W11 PC.

I made sure it was the right SSID, checked if it was the right pc model, and downloaded the bios update with my SSID but im still getting the error.

Are you getting the same prompt per your second response after manually downloading the BIOS update from the HP Support site?

The BIOS update should download to your PC's Download folder. You then run the .exe file in the Downloads folder to install the update.

I don't understand this.

What's the MB SSID?

I'll post a download link to the BIOS update in my response.

Is your PC's BIOS version older than the BIOS version you are trying to download?

See if you can download this Link.

Have you tried different browsers? Can you download other software?
