No I have tried scanning for hardware changes and nothing comes up.

Try this..

http://www.uwe-sieber.de/misc_tools_e.html  Run the device cleanup tool from the zip there is no setup.

Your setup should show the bluetooth  devices in this program.  I would remove all the ones that say bluetooth, but you might start by any that say 'not used' or 'not installed' then reboot.  If it doesnt repair, then delete them all and reboot.

If this doesn't work there is most likely a hardware issue, either a failing or incompatiable device.

You can also go to properties, ensure the driver is up to date and uninstall or enable/disable drivers.

Also there is GhostSmart which is an advanced version that will show you services and reg codes related to the drivers.

Nothing showing in device cleanup and could not get ghostbuster to open.  I am not  convinced this is a faulty bluetooth adapter.  I would have to put the blame on windows 10 considering my bluetooth worked prior to completing the upgrade.

I had the same problem with no bluethoot after installing Windows 10. I did a BIOS reset configuration and after that I had full access to WiFi and Bluethoot.
