Hi @Dlark99,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're unable to download the latest BIOS for your HP Envy x360 14, here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.

Verify Model and BIOS Version:

Ensure you're searching for the correct BIOS for your specific HP Envy x360 14 model. HP uses specific model numbers (e.g., 14t, 14-ba, etc.), which can be found on the bottom of your laptop or within the HP Support Assistant app.

Use the HP Support Website:

  1. Visit the HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads.
  2. Enter your exact model number in the search bar.
  3. Select your operating system and version (e.g., Windows 11 or 10).
  4. Look for the BIOS section and download the latest update.

Troubleshoot Download Issues:

  • Clear Browser Cache: If the download link isn’t working, clear your browser's cache or try using a different browser.
  • Disable VPN/Firewall: Sometimes, VPNs or firewalls block access to downloads. Temporarily disable them and try again.
  • Test Network Connection: Ensure your internet connection is stable and not blocking large downloads.

Update via HP Support Assistant:

  • Open HP Support Assistant on your laptop.
  • Go to the Updates section and check for BIOS updates.
  • If available, download and install directly from the app.

Use HP Cloud Recovery Tool (Optional):

If the above steps don’t work:

  1. Download the HP Cloud Recovery Tool.
  2. Use it to create a recovery USB for your laptop. This USB may include the latest BIOS as part of the recovery.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
