cd rom is not recognized by pc since upgrading to win 10

I eliminated the 2 pending items and shut file explorerdown and tried the cd rom but still got the access denied label

This is the error reading on vlc-     file reading failed- vlc could not open file "I\"[ bad file descriptor] - your input can't be opened - vlc is unable to open the mrl 'file:///I:/'. check the log for details

It takes an "approval" by a moderator of the forum to make the images available.  So, there can be a delay.

If you use File Explorer to open the 'I:' drive, to show the files/folders on the media, does it work on some other computer? Does it work on your computer?

The file explorer on my other computer doesn't let me go to I drive .    Only on this computer.

Double-click right there, to "expand" the tree to show the "branches", including 'C:' and 'I:'.

Double-click on 'I:'.

I did the clicking on I in the upper part of page but got nothing.  I clicked on cd rom o in the lower part of page and got a reading - change drive letter and paths-    I will try to send a snip of the page.

How do u transfer a snip to a post.  All I find is mail recipient  to send to.
