Hi @S_3461

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I'm sorry to hear that your PC is stuck in a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) loop. When a computer continuously enters BSOD, it typically indicates a hardware or software problem. Since you've already tried the recovery options without success, let's go through a systematic approach to resolve this issue.

1. Note the BSOD Error Code

  • Error code: BSODs often display an error code or message (e.g., STOP CODE like SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED, MEMORY_MANAGEMENT, IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, etc.). If possible, take note of the error message or code, as it can help identify the specific issue.
  • If you can't read the error code: If the BSOD disappears too quickly, try to take a picture of it with your phone or use any tools you might have that could capture the error screen.

2. Boot into Safe Mode

Safe Mode is a basic mode of Windows that loads with minimal drivers, which can help you troubleshoot issues.

  • To boot into Safe Mode:

Power on your PC and immediately press F8 (or Shift + F8 on some machines) repeatedly until you see the Advanced Boot Options screen.

Choose Safe Mode or Safe Mode with Networking from the list.

  • Alternatively, if you can't access Safe Mode this way, try to:
    1. Power on your PC.
    2. When Windows tries to load, force a shutdown by pressing and holding the power button.
    3. Repeat this process (starting and shutting down) three times to trigger Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE).
    4. In WinRE, go to Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Startup Settings, and select Restart.
    5. Once your PC restarts, you should see options including Safe Mode.
  • In Safe Mode, you can try:
    • Uninstalling recently installed updates or drivers that could have caused the BSOD.
    • Checking for malware that could be interfering with the system.

3. System Restore (If Available)

If you can access Safe Mode or Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE):

Go to Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > System Restore.

Choose a restore point before the issue started happening and proceed with the restore. This will roll back your system to a previous state where it was working properly.

If System Restore is not available, try the Startup Repair option from WinRE.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

Please mark this post as “Accepted Solution” if the issue is resolved and if you feel this reply was helpful click “Yes”.
