Hi:

 

You need to install the Intel Host Embedded Controller Interface (HECI) Driver for the hardware ID of PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2994.

This will work for W7 too.

Try the driver directly from Intel...It seems like the driver has gone missing from the dc7700 support pages...

Hello Paul,

 

I tried the above link, yet the problem could not be solved because the driver does not support my operating system (windows 7).

 

Please is there any other alternative?

Try running the setup file from the Intel site in compatibility mode (right click and select troubleshoot compatibility).  Using Vista SP2 mode worked for me.
