had to refresh my lap-top and Microsoft had removed: hp diagnostic core dll - I googled the file name but I could not download it. So where do I go to download it?  - hp diagnostic core dll   - I also tried the HP site but I cannot find the model number of this laptop - it is 5 yrs old.  thanks for any help.   operating system: windows 8.1, 64 bit -  Larry 9119

The tool runs within the Windows operating system in order to diagnose hardware failures. HP PC Hardware Diagnostics Windows comes pre-installed on new HP computers, but if not on yours, download here:-
