Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

in my PC, 

when i am switching it on its is showing error 162, and asking to press F1, but my keyboard and mouse are not working .

both r working peefectly on othee device

kindly help me out

Without the system completely starting, and the keyboard and mouse NOT being PS/2 connected, that might be the problem ( in other words USB keyboard is being used)  Just an FYI on that problem.

Error code 162 is addressed on page 46

162-System Options Not Set            Configuration incorrect.     RTC (real-time clock) battery may need to be replaced.

Run Computer Setup and check the configuration in Advanced > Onboard Devices.Reset the date and time under Control Panel. If the problem persists, replace the RTC battery. See the Hardware Reference Guide for instructions on installing a new battery, or contact an authorized dealer or reseller for RTC battery replacement
