I have had Word 16 for a number of years and now I receive the message  "the operating system is not presently configured to run this application. I also cannot access any of my saved word documents.

If you place that message (The operating system is not presently configured to run this application) in a search engine (such as Google or whatever), there are several you tube videos addressing that issue, or solutions on the Microsoft answers site.
