Greetings @Sjaak12

Welcome to the HP Forum.

Chances are your W11 HP PC is using Secure Boot and a TPM.

It is possible the Linux boot media is not compatible with Secure Boot if the USB flash drive does not appear in the UEFI boot menu.

Are you trying to do a dual boot setup?

I run Linux Mint on a separate PC. I don't mess with dual boot configs anymore.

Typically that error means the USB flash drive is not boot-able.  Either remake the USB properly ot find the directions on "How To" on the Linux distro site.

Good point @TheOldMan

It is best to use Etcher or Rufus when creating bootable USB OS installation media.
