I get the message that windows can not verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. So far Microsoft and the DVD manufacturer have thrown up their hands. Need help because I use this device on a regualr basis.

Hello;
Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!
Unfortunately, your lack of information in your post prevents anyone from answering your questions.
First, there are over 120 models of the Envy 27-k PC. IF you were to provide your specific model number, folks might be able to track down drivers for your PC -- if that is what you are asking for.
Second, if the problem is drivers for the external DVD device, we certainly don't have drivers for that. You would need to check with the device manufacturer to see if they have Win10 drivers for it. Not everyone does.

I have a Buffalo BRXL-16U3 Series DVD drive. I did contact the manufacturer and they said their drives were compatable with Windows 10. Some update either with windows or some other proram has created this issue. Once upon a time it did work.
