@joao2008, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding factory reset for your laptop!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Unfortunately, I can't perform the reset for you, but I can guide you through the process so you can attempt it yourself. Here are some steps you can try:

Factory Reset Using Windows Settings

  1. Back Up Important Data: Although you mentioned you don't care about the data on your laptop, it's always good practice to back up anything you might need later.
  2. Access Windows Settings:
    • Open the Settings application on your laptop.
    • Go to Update & Security.
  3. Navigate to Recovery:
    • Click on Recovery in the left-hand menu.
    • Under Reset this PC, click on Get Started.
  4. Choose Your Option:
    • Choose Remove everything for a full reset.
  5. Follow Prompts: Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the reset process.

Factory Reset Using Recovery Partition (if available)

If the above method doesn't work, using the recovery partition might help. Here’s how you can access it:

  1. Restart Your Laptop: While it is restarting, press the function key (often F11 or ESC, but it varies by model) repeatedly until you see the recovery screen.
  2. Select Troubleshoot: If you reach the recovery screen, select Troubleshoot, then Reset this PC.
  3. Follow Prompts: Follow the instructions to remove everything.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
