Hi:

The code you posted is in the wrong format.

It should be 4 strings of 6 characters.

In any event, one of those codes mean that you will need to replace the hard drive and reinstall the operating system.

Below is the link to the upgrading and servicing guide for your PC, which will have the hard drive R & R procedure.

You can reinstall W8.1 by making your own installation media from the link below.

Download the version of W8.1 that came with your PC (standard or Pro).

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows8ISO

I have zipped up and attached below, the Microsoft utility you will need to transfer the ISO file to a DVD or USB flash drive, so that it is bootable.

After W8.1 installs, you can install the drivers and available software from your PC's support page.

This  is the correct failure code M4MXN4-75V9NW-QFFV7G-60TV13

This part that I need, does it pay to fix this computer or get a new one at this point.

The error code translates to:  Hard Disk 1 Quick Test Failure.

You need to replace the hard drive with that code.

A replacement 1 TB hard drive would cost you ~$46.00

If you can do the work yourself and reinstall the operating system yourself using the instructions I posted, that is how much it will cost you to fix it.

A new PC would cost a whole lot more than $46.00.
