freezes when I click something

Is the computer still protected under the HP Warranty? If so, contact HP Support, as your next step.

 

Otherwise, there are several components of your computer that could create the symptom:

  • power-supply
  • motherboard
  • processor
  • RAM
  • disk-drive
  • dying battery in wireless keyboard or mouse
  • messed-up installation of Windows

You probably need to take it to a certified computer technician, for proper trouble-shooting.

The more I read, it must be a hardware issue. I have replaced everything else.
