Hi @Enrique66,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The "Class not registered" error on your HP All-in-One PC 24 when clicking the taskbar can be caused by a corrupted system file or a problem with Windows Explorer. Try these solutions.

Restart Windows Explorer

  1. Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.
  2. Scroll down and find Windows Explorer.
  3. Right-click it and select Restart.
  4. Check if the taskbar works properly.

Reset Windows Default Apps

  1. Press Win + I to open Settings.
  2. Go to Apps > Default apps.
  3. Scroll down and click Reset under Reset to the Microsoft recommended defaults.

Re-register Windows Components

  1. Press Win + R, type powershell, and press Ctrl + Shift + Enter to open PowerShell as Admin.
  2. Copy and paste this command, then press Enter:

Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

  1. Wait for the process to complete, then restart your PC.

Run System File Checker (SFC) and DISM

  1. Open Command Prompt as Administrator (search cmd, right-click, and select Run as administrator).
  2. Run this command and wait for it to complete:

sfc /scannow

  1. If the issue persists, run these commands one by one:

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

  1. Restart your PC after completion.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
