16mg?
What does that mean?
Modern hard disks are rated in storage capacity og GB (gigabytes) Modern memory modules are also rated in GB.
Did you mean to say memory instead of hard disk?
16GB and 64GB would be truly low capacity hard disks.
If you meant memory, the answer is no.  The maximum installed memory is 32 GB. See the following web page for guaranteed compatible memory modules.

Re: hard drive

From: http://h71016.www7.hp.com/html/pdfs/HP_ProDesk_and_ProOne_600_G1_Datasheet.pdf

there are three models:

Series: ProDesk
Model: Small Form Factor
1600 MHz DDR3 SDRAM; (4) DIMM slots enabling up to 32GB, dual channel memory support

Series: ProDesk
Model: Tower
1600 MHz DDR3 SDRAM; (4) DIMM slots enabling up to 32GB, dual channel memory support

Series: ProOne
Model: All-in-One
1600 MHz DDR3 SDRAM; (2) SODIMM slots enabling up to 16GB, dual channel memory support

You wrote 'SSF' -- did you mean 'SFF' ("Small Form Factor") ?

If you did, you currently might have 2 "empty" slots, making it very simple to populate those slots.

I am not certain whether it will be a "cache" configuration, or just a "secondary" disk-drive.

From: http://www.hp.com/hpinfo/newsroom/press_kits/2013/HPDiscover2013/HPProDesk600_datasheet.pdf

Memory: 1600 MHz DDR3 SDRAM; (2) SODIMM slots enabling up to 16GB, dual channel memory support

Internal storage: 500GB SATA hard drive; up to 1TB solid state hybrid drive; up to 256GB Opal self-encrypting solid state drive

From: http://h20195.www2.hp.com/v2/GetPDF.aspx/c04128105.pdf

Slots:
(1) internal M.2 connector for optional wireless NIC
(1) internal M.2 connector for optional SSD drive

---------------------------------------------

It does not specify an upper-limit for the size of the mSATA drive.

It will support a "hybrid" disk-drive -- some SSD, but mostly "spinning".
