HP Z400 Workstation
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a Z400 work station with two monitors, always daily updating,  that worked perfectly for some years. Unfortunately, a couple of days ago suffering a "microsoft error 43" message causing screen loss that turned into one screen in use showing larger fonts and an oversize screen presentation.

After searching and applying some suggested steps, had both screens in use for a short time however, after loading up some of the usual standard software packages installed eg: M/S excel_word_oulook_project etc, the screen tha screen showed some flickering then many red and white small blocks rendering the ability to use them impossible.

I have made arrangements to secure replacement HP Nvidia quadro 600 1gb part number 671135-001graphics card.

Perhaps there is somebody in the community that would kindly offer practical help to me for installing replacement part when it comes to hand.

Yes, I have looked into the HP site however, not found a step by step procedure to carefully implement the instal process.

My Z400  Win 10 vers 1703, Intel Xeon CPU W3505 @ 2.53GHz, Ram 4Gb, 64 bit. Nnorton A/V installed & Updated.

Thank you in anticipation.

I accessed www.YouTube.com

and did a search for "HP z400 workstation video card",

and found some practical videos that demonstrate how to change the video-card,

created by members of the YouTube community.

Watch a few of them. :generic:

Very helpful response, thank you.

Reviewed some of the videos noting research to installation steps.

Further tips will help me if any other upgrade or replacement parts are to be considered.

Again, thank you for your time and consideration.
