HP All-in-One - 22-c0049
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

We are having issues with slow operation, 100%CPU useage and 'system interrupts' on start up in task manager.

Device Manager - Other - shows  grey question marks for all drivers, 'system interrupt' driver is totally missing.

So we tried to download Chipset from HP website, won't install. (cerificate issue for Windows???) Tried other drivers from

HP Website, they show installed at completion, but don't update in Device Manager (except Display Graphics driver)

Task Manager shows 2% CPU in Safe Mode, All HP diagnostic tests pass OK, scannow and DISM are OK.

We have an SSD drive,  237GB (152 in use), 16GB RAM (3GB in use).

Any ideas on how to clear ? marks in Other devices and download 'system interrupt' drivers to start with

would be appreciated.  We're overwhelmed with all the issues and the repair shops haven't helped. Thank-you!

You're very welcome.

Sorry, that installing the AMD chipset driver didn't help.

The only other suggestion I can offer would be to back up your files and use the HP cloud recovery tool to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will factory reset the PC.

You can use the HP cloud recovery tool on your PC or with another PC running W7 64 bit or newer and a 32 GB USB flash drive to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your PC.

Here is an info link for how to use the utility.

If you want to install the recovery tool on another PC, after you launch it, you will need to enter your PC's product number in the tool's search window to proceed.

Your PC's product number is:  2HL05AA#ABL

Hi:

The only suggestion I can offer, would be to install the chipset driver directly from AMD.

Select the W10 64-bit driver from the list.

The one with the Revision Number 18.10.0830

Hello Paul,

Thanks for the recommendation. We tried the download from AMD and got error 1719 re: Windows Installer not working-

but it showed as 'running' and 'manual' startup in Services. Tried downloading the AMD chip driver again, after 90 mins came

back with the message 'Installer is no longer responding'. Task manager showed System Interrupt at 100% CPU.

Any other ideas for us to try? Thanks again.

A Great Big Thank-you for your recommendation. It worked !!!!

Everything is back up to speed and the CPU  in task manager is down to 5%!!!!

After many weeks of trying different approaches, we now know that Windows 10 can get corrupted.
