Hi @Bentcorp,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To block pop-up ads on your HP All-in-One 24 desktop, you'll need to adjust settings in your web browser, as well as possibly use additional software. Here's a general guide for popular browsers.
For Google Chrome:
- Open Chrome and click on the three vertical dots (menu) in the upper-right corner.
- Go to "Settings".
- Scroll down and click on "Privacy and security".
- Click on "Site settings".
- Under "Content", click on "Pop-ups and redirects".
- Toggle the switch to "Blocked" to prevent sites from showing pop-ups.
For Mozilla Firefox:
- Open Firefox and click on the three horizontal lines (menu) in the upper-right corner.
- Go to "Settings".
- Select "Privacy & Security" from the left menu.
- Under "Permissions", check the box next to "Block pop-up windows".
For Microsoft Edge:
- Open Edge and click on the three horizontal dots (menu) in the upper-right corner.
- Go to "Settings".
- Click on "Cookies and site permissions".
- Under "All permissions", click on "Pop-ups and redirects".
- Toggle the switch to "Blocked".
For Safari (Mac):
- Open Safari and click on "Safari" in the menu bar.
- Select "Preferences".
- Go to the "Websites" tab.
- Select "Pop-up Windows" from the left menu.
- Set the pop-up blocker to "Block and notify" or "Block" for all websites.
These steps should help reduce or eliminate pop-up ads on your desktop.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
