@wayneblock,

Welcome to our HP Community forum!

That is an interesting question.  Let's see if the following step-by-step guide works out for you to remove the myHP popup:

  1. Disable myHP from Startup:

    • Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open the Task Manager.
    • Go to the Startup tab.
    • Look for "myHP" in the list.
    • Right-click on it and select Disable.
    • Restart the computer to confirm the change.
  2. Adjust myHP Settings:

    • Open the myHP app (search for "myHP" in the Start menu if needed).
    • Navigate to Settings within the app.
    • Look for any options related to notifications or popups and disable them.
  3. Uninstall the myHP App (if not needed):

    • Press Windows + I to open Settings.
    • Go to Apps > Apps & Features.
    • Locate myHP in the list, click it, and select Uninstall.
    • Follow the prompts to complete the uninstallation.
  4. Check for Background Services:

    • Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
    • Look for any services related to myHP.
    • Right-click on the service, select Properties, and set the Startup type to Disabled.

Please let me know if this resolves your issue.

Kind Regards,
