Welcome to our HP Community forum!
That is an interesting question. Let's see if the following step-by-step guide works out for you to remove the myHP popup:
Disable myHP from Startup:
- Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open the Task Manager.
- Go to the Startup tab.
- Look for "myHP" in the list.
- Right-click on it and select Disable.
- Restart the computer to confirm the change.
Adjust myHP Settings:
- Open the myHP app (search for "myHP" in the Start menu if needed).
- Navigate to Settings within the app.
- Look for any options related to notifications or popups and disable them.
Uninstall the myHP App (if not needed):
- Press Windows + I to open Settings.
- Go to Apps > Apps & Features.
- Locate myHP in the list, click it, and select Uninstall.
- Follow the prompts to complete the uninstallation.
Check for Background Services:
- Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
- Look for any services related to myHP.
- Right-click on the service, select Properties, and set the Startup type to Disabled.
Please let me know if this resolves your issue.
Kind Regards,
