can i get help on how much memory can i up grade to my desk top? i have 8 gb now and have and empty slot?

HP Pavilion 24-xa0020 All-in-One Desktop PC Product Specifications | HP® Support

 

The parts list for your PC indicates that HP installed an 8 GB memory chip, so there would be an empty memory slot to install a second one.
