The fact that you are asking the question leaves me to believe that your PC is one of the newer ones that don't come with DVD drives and what you are seeing is a filler blank where the option DVD drive goes in some models that came with one.

 

In Windows explorer (This PC), do you see a DVD drive listed along with the C: drive?

 

If not, your PC does not have a DVD drive.
