how to register computer with work email

I opened my computer, and I am trying to add my email Microsoft account, and it will not allow me to do so.

If this is a new system then skip past the email request and simply create a local account then add an "email" account later.

Alternately ---

Use another system, run "Edge" to log into your Microsoft account and verify the password is correct.

Then create an email account using that password.
